National Grain Sorghum Producers
Thanks for bringing your special brand of humor to our Sorghum Industry Conference in Tucson. We appreciate that you took the time to get to know our group and tailor special messages for us.
The poem you composed and recited especially for the sorghum industry was certainly a memorable part of your performance. If only every speaker would make the effort to make each performance new and different.
Many of our members had very positive things to say about your appearance. In addition, you fit in very well with the audience.
Thanks, Jim, for being a part of our conference.
Garey Management Organization
As you know, GMO, Inc., is the administrative offices for four state and national professional associations, and I serve as Executive Director for each one of these. I'm taking the liberty to thank you on behalf of each of those organizations that have contracted with you to provide entertainment at their annual meetings and banquets.
Without question, in each case, you did an outstanding job of tailoring your message and humor to fit each individual gathering and profession. Often when professional organizations contract with a banquet speaker such as yourself, you often wonder if the content of the presentation will be effective, appropriate, and if it will be something that the group can associate with. I would have to say that each time you have appeared before one of the groups that I manage, you've done an outstanding job in each of these areas. You have literally had them "rolling in the aisles" with laughter and at the same time been able to communicate your thoughts to those in attendance on a level that was compatible with their particular profession whether it be funeral directors, veterinarians, golf course superintendents, etc.
You have been very accommodating and extremely easy to work with, not making demands or requests that are unreasonable. The responses from the attendees have been extremely favorable and in each case, I believe you have been a major contributor to the overall success of each of the conventions. If you ever need a personal recommendation to a specific group or organization please do not hesitate to give them my name as I will be most happy to reply favorably.
Again, thank you very much and we look forward to having you be our guest at one of our future meetings.
Washington State University
Dr. Jim Kramer was the invited speaker at the commencement exercises for the graduates of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University. Dr. Kramer's talk was organized, well paced and delivered with wit and humor. From the beginning, Dr. Kramer had the graduates and the audience laughing and looking forward with anticipation to his next anecdote.
Dr. Kramer's incorporation of stories with personal meaning to the class (he had obviously done some prior research in this area) and his ability to ad lib when necessary contributed greatly to the success of his address. Although Dr. Kramer's humor is projected from a veterinarian's point of view, his overall style and message appealed to the entire audience.
Dr. Kramer knows when to be funny and when to be serious; his final words to the graduates were meaningful and well spoken. Coming from a practicing veterinarian, the new DVM, CVPM's took his words of advice to heart.
Dr. Kramer is personable, friendly, down-to-earth, and (very) funny. His humorous stories and original poems, based primarily on his experiences as a veterinarian and an animal lover, are guaranteed to produce smiles and laughs.

Nebraska Funeral Directors Association
On behalf of the officers, board of directors and the entire membership of the Nebraska Funeral Directors Association, I want to thank you for presenting a most enlightening and enjoyable evening of fun at the Nebraska FDA banquet in Columbus, Nebraska.
My prediction to the board and convention committee that you would have the people rolling in the aisles with laughter was right on target. The Nebraska FDA has had many and varied programs of entertainment at our annual banquet, but never have I seen the audience give the presenter a standing ovation as they did for you the evening of April 26th.
I honestly believe that each and every one of those 200 people that were in attendance at the banquet expressed to me sometime during the balance of the meeting how much they enjoyed your entertaining program and they were extremely complimentary of your talent.
Should you ever need a recommendation for another group, please do not hesitate to contact me as I will be most happy to assure any organization that you will do an outstanding job. With this in mind, I want you to know that I plan on contacting you in the near future to be the entertainment at one or more of the national groups, which I manage.
Howard County Community Hospital
On behalf of Howard County Community Hospital and Howard County Hospital Foundation, I would like to thank you for presenting a very entertaining program at our 40th Anniversary Banquet.
Carol Rasmussen really knew what she was talking about when she recommended you as our keynote speaker. You kept the crowd laughing throughout the evening. In addition to showing their approval through laughter, many of the 120 people in attendance made good comments about your talent and how enjoyable your program was.
I was very pleased with the results of the banquet and with how you incorporated health care into your program. You skillfully made your humor fit the needs of our organization. This was greatly appreciated especially on such short notice.
If you ever need a recommendation, please contact me as I will be happy to assure any organization that you will do an outstanding job. Again, thank you for helping us celebrate the hospital's 40th Anniversary.
Central States Ostrich Association
I am writing this letter on behalf of the Central States Ostrich Association and the Board of Directors. We want to thank you for your inspirational and entertaining presentation at the Fall Seminar held in Omaha.
Because of the reputation you established after your presentation at last year's banquet everyone was again anticipating hearing you again. I always find it interesting to watch the expressions and reactions of not only the speaker, but those listening as well. As organizer of the event, perhaps it is only natural to want to make sure people are enjoying themselves and we are getting our money's worth! It was most evident from the audience's expression and all the thoughtful comments following, that you had indeed captivated the members.
I continue to admire the way you blend your speaking, singing and playing talents together to give the audience something to laugh about, think about and even maybe shed a tear about. Thanks so much Jim for sharing of yourself and talents with us.
If I can ever offer a recommendation for another group, I would be more than happy to do so and let them know how very pleased everyone in our organization was with your presentation.

AVMA Alternate Delegate
Pierre, SD
I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your presentations at the AVMA-LC in Chicago. You reminded us all what it means to be a "Doc", as well as the special place we hold as role models and mentors in our communities.
I left Chicago smiling and thinking about how lucky I am to be a veterinarian.
Take care and I look forward to seeing you on Jay Leno...
